Hey guys,

i'm living in a world of pop up hell since the middle of the week.

upon recommendation of the computer savvy folk at work I have switched to mozilla but still need to run IE as it supports my work webmail (it's outlook but online.....)

I've blocked everything i can and the little blighters keep on appearing even when outlook is closed.

Since installing Mozilla my virus software (McCaffee OAS) has been finding viruses like a sailor on shore leave.

I've never had a virus or pop up problem until now.

And, no, i haven't been hanging out on any dodgy sites.

Can anyone recommend additional blocking software or another solution?

but whatever you do post the results before you delete anything.

IIRC there is an analyser for the HJT logs online. Also if you post the HJT log, you want to post it all.

And I've been told we're not a computer support site have a look on www.dslreports.com at their Security forums - there is a HJT support area IIRC.
