Problems with Romande Energie

Hello all, sorry first post might be another "problem" with the swiss way of doing things, but im fresh out of options.

I moved to a new house in Lausanne last year in Aug after living in a small town outside Lausanne.
i run a busy company both here in switzerland and Denmark and as an owner i run through all invoices and pay them. After about 8 to 9 month i by accident actually looked at my invoice from the energy company and see that in between the lines they have added something called "multimedia ".
i does not say what it is or what its for , so since im a paying client with Swisscom and has been happily since i arrived i called up Romande who told me outright that since i paid the first invoice it was considered that i had agreed to this service. it seems that its a broadban for internet and tv ( i use swisscom bluewintv and pay for this along side used to use cablecom for tv ) i told them that i had never been asked or even told that this existed ( not by a salesperson, letter, notifications or anything by them, the company i rent the house from or the owner of the house, but they did not care. I then got really upset since in my world this is borderline fraud. they promised they would get back to me.
now almost 3 months later i still have not heard anything from them except for the regular invoices which i of course want to pay, but by doing so im actaully paying for the "multimedia" and thereby accepting the fraud. they are only writting me in French despite i have told them via phone and emails on 5 occations i only speak English and German.

anyone else in this forum who has encountered this problem before and got it solved ? Also im suspecting they are just trying to get some free money from all foreigners whos companies pay their bills this way and therefor most often does not question this. All my nabours who are swiss french and people i work with who are also swiss are totally agreeing with me here, but its like ramming your head against a concrete block to get theese people to admit fraud, cheating and other nasty tricks.

i would be greatfull for any advise and input.
AND yes i could have gone through the first invoice when i received it but paying around 50 to 60 invoices per week made me just naivly think that the power company would only charge me for electricty and nothing else.
ask yourself how many of you who will go through your reciept from COOP each time you shop in the weekend, and if you did not and they charged you 40 CHF for sunshine in Switzerland and would do so in the future just because you paid it the first time and didnt complain

Best regards

Re: Problems with Romande Energie

Hello, I have in fact just realised that I also get this Multimedia addition to my bill that I have never asked for and I am using CableCom. Did you ever get this issue resolved? What did it take if you did?

I agree that this is clearly a fraudulent activity, was there any chance for a refund?

He hasn't been back since 2009, so I doubt he will be reading your post!
