Swisscom Router SMCA1T-A NAT problem

hello, my first post on this forum...

WANNA WANT a SOLUTION... READ THIS !!!

have lots of issues with router SMCA1T-A when trying lot of time to configure NAT, ip pass trough and other port blocking... Always same bad results...

After lots of hours, tryed to understand what's wrong, i discovered the solution to my problem... and maybe for u too...

If you use the website to configure the router (NAT) it's not exactly what is written on the router. The website is bugged...

USE the commande line console... no bug, you are directly connected to the hardware of your router... no web, no Iexplorer bug, and more...

try it ...

open windows command prompt
1. start --> Programs --> Accessories --> Command Prompt

open telnet and connect to your router
2. c:\> telnet 192.168.1.1

3. Log in

OK lets go for the NAT configuration
4. ROOT:> ip_share (press enter)

here you can choose what kind of nat you want...

the following exemple is for my case ...

I need to connect from internet only one pc on my private lan changing from port 2000 to 3000 between internet and my lan.

Internet --> Router port 2000/ router port 3000 ---> only one pc (ip 192.168.1.1)

For this, i use the virtual_server... but the menu are approximatively the same for all king of nat...

5. ROOT:> ip_share virtual_server (press enter)

6. ROOT:> ip_share virtual_server add (press enter)

Enter the name for this NAT rule
7. ROOT:> ip_share virtual_server add name test (press enter)

To configure the interface = any
8. ROOT:> ip_share virtual_server add interfaceany (press enter)

To configure the server that will receive the connexion...
9. ROOT:> ip_share virtual_server add server 192.168.1.1 (press enter)

Configure the port redirection (in this example port internet side = 2000 and lan side = 3000)
10. ROOT:> ip_share virtual_server add port_map tcp,2000 tcp,3000 (press enter)

Activate your rule (respect lettercase)
11. ROOT:> ip_share virtual_server func Enable (press enter)

Check your work ...

11. ROOT:> show ip_share (press enter)
Get the help
4. ROOT:> ?

cmd line win,,, web newbie interface sucks...
more than 3 hours on this problem... damn...

I hope it's help...

cheers
