Radio Amateurs Geneva

Hi All,

Are there any English speaking Radio Amateurs based in the Geneva area?

I have checked out the websites locally and they are all in French, and am interested in

1. Getting involved and licensed
2. Getting to know others

Thanks
Paul

This is the local website with amateur radio enthusiasts: http://www.hb9g.ch/

You can also try to find some english speaking locals through the Geneva-based hackerspace https://www.posttenebraslab.ch/

Have a look at http://www.iapc.ch too, they're based on Onex in Geneva (I don't know anything about the club, I just use their webcam on a local mountain to check the weather)

There used to be a bunch of radio-amateurs at the ITU and indeed there's an impressive set of SW antennas on their building. I have no idea if they're still active.

Do you refer to this building? https://www.google.com/maps/place/In...348!4d6.137027

On Google maps there isn't much to see in terms of SW antennas.
