I searched the forums but the last relevant information seems to be from 2008 and it said about 7 days.

I ordered internet on May 7 here in 8003 zurich. Still waiting. Is this normal to wait this long?

It has been a while since I first subscribed, but when I upgraded a few months ago, I received a new set top box and modem (two packages) within 3 days.

So I would say give a call and check what is happening. I am in Zurich. I know many complain about Cablecom and customer service, but I have been very satisfied with customer service, even when problems have needed resolution.

10 days it took, that was... 2 months ago.

The package showed up 2 days before the earliest date we could choose (2 weeks and a day when the signup was done) when signing up online. The modem et al worked that day as well when it was connected up!

I made an order last last 2 weeks.. It took 3 days after I made the subscription online.. (there's an option to be delivered as soon as possible in the form). You can contact the people from commercial for the delivery status..

I signed up when they released the new 100Mb package and got the routers to match (Sitecom gaming router). I waited the full 2 weeks, nothing arrived, went the whole hog in complaining and threatening to take my business elsewhere. They arranged for me to pick up the router etc the same day at one of their service points, gave me 6 months Internet at 1/2 price. I was up and running that evening within an hour of getting home.

Their is high demand for the new packages and the routers are in short supply. This could go on for a while.

The problem was the router or the modem?

The problem was nothing had arrived , router , modem , nix...

argh! even if this package does arrive, i wont be home to receive it, so i'll have to pick it up anyways. it would be better if i could just go to their building somewhere and grab it myself.

They have a customer service point in Zoll Strasse right next to HB. I was in and out in 15 minutes. They made me sign a second contract after they cancelled the first. Next day I got the yellow note in my post box probably asking me to pick up the old one. I never collected it under advice as it might have re-activated the old account and I might have been double billed.

I signed up 4 CC and it was all delivered and running within 2days. They were very good and the service since has been exceptional. I have not experienced any of the issues I read on here, however, that may highlight how people go about things!!

I ordered on a Friday about a week ago and on Wednesday 5 days after, I had received the router. But I used the swisscom wifi mobile internet from the time I arrived until I had the broadband working. The swisscom was quite good actually. It costed 100 CHFs for the USB thingy and you get 5 days of credit with that. And if you top up in a Swisscom/mobile shop, its 4 CHFs per day after that. But I did see something even cheaper the other day!! Its not bad until you get the real broadband,
