Bose lifestyle system

Hi i got a Bose lifestyle 38 system bought in the States and i am trying to hook up a wireless connection AL8 transmitter/receiver) units to an ampli (SA-3) and some outside speakers (SE151) which are on the patio. (The AL 8 units were bought in Europe, and apparantly there is not a frequency issue according to Bose) With remote controls there is a frequency issue as US is 27Mhz & Europe works on 40 Mhz.

I cannot get the AL 8 units to recognise or "speak" to each other, even when they next to each other. They seem to work for about 60 seconds after which the signal is lost.

Anybody got any great ideas or know what the problem maybe ? Anyway to test the units ? (I am reasonably sure the cables are ok as i tested 2 different ones)

I live near Vevey, any electrical/technical people want to set it up for a beer/wine payment please send me a PM.

All advice most welcome

Re: Bose lifestyle system

I think the AL8 uses wifi channels so try choosing different channels.
Hope this helps!
