Help with an M-BUDGET Mobile phone

I bought this phone to use in Switzerland and unfortunately although the instructions come in 3 languages...none in English. I had the phone activated in the store by a nice young man that spoke almost no English. I shut the phone off to take a plane ride and now it wants a PIN to turn back on. How do I find out what the PIN is? Is there a website to go to that I can log into my account info or what? Anyone have a suggestion?

Re: Help with an M-BUDGET Mobile phone

When you bought the phone, did you receive the sim card attached to a larger card (credit card size)? This card should have a bar code on it, and also two codes: a 4-digit pin and a longer PUK code. If you enter the PIN incorrectly 3 times, you will need the PUK to unlock the phone.

This is the mbudget mobile website, but no english I'm afraid...

Yes, what Seeingbee suggests is correct. However, if your phone is now locked, or you have lost the 'credit card' that the SIM card was attached to, you could do what I did when something similar happened to me.
I live in Lausanne, but this happened in a different part of Switzerland. We drove round til we found an M-Electronics shop, I went to the man at the counter, and he said there is a phone number you can call up from a landline (I think you will find this on the website), and they will help you over the phone to reset it. But I told him as I had no access to a phone, could he do it for me. Very sweetly he phoned the number, got a code from them, sorted out my phone, and now I have a PIN that I can actually remember!
Good luck!
