Lost Satellite Radio and TV Channels

I have lost most of my FTA satellite radio channels (inc all BBC) and a number of my TV channels including ITV. This has been the case for the last three days.

Has anyone else experienced this in the past few days ? If not it could be a problem with the roof dish.

Yeah, you're thinking "surely Simon and Simon aren't brothers in real life, only on tv"

Am I right?

Refer to this thread of a couple of days ago: BBC Radio 4 - Cablecom

Should have the new coordinates/frequencies for bbc channels.

Why can I no longer receive some BBC radio stations via satellite?
Some BBC radio stations on satellite have moved their location. If you have a Sky satellite receiver you need do nothing, but if you have a 'free to air' type receiver you will have to make the changes manually, otherwise you will eventually lose the stations. You can find details on this page - channels with changes are marked.

I installed a Multytenne last night during the storm and all the channels work as advertised. Your problem must have to do with the fact that many channels on Astra 2D were recently moved.

If you already re-scanned the frequencies:
Do you use a single LNB? If not - perhaps parts of your monoblock are broken or one of your LNBs went out.

I think his issue is that he failed to divulge the point that he was not using a Dodgybox
