Orange Young Forever

Looks like the Wettbewerbskommission did a good job. Orange has to react to the pressure by Sunrise and customers win for once!

Maybe you've already heard of Orange Me.
It replaces all former Orange contracts (for example Optima), except Prima which is targeted at children.

Here are the new tariffs compared to M-Budget Mobile:

But anyway. What's really interesting is that Orange Young has been improved.
Calls to Orange and landline are now free all the time, not just in the evening and on weekends.
But wait, there's more!
If you get Orange Young now, you can keep it forever, no matter if you'll finish university or get older than 27! All you have to do is stay with Orange.
But wait, there's more!
According to the friendly and competent lady at the Orange Store (no sarcasm), they grant Orange Young Forever to EVERYONE at the moment!!!
Yes, even if you're old as dirt and have never seen a University from the inside!!!

So for 10.- per month (SIM-only, 30 minutes) you can get unlimited free calls to Orange and landline, 50 sms and 30 minutes.
For 25.-, 45.- or 80.- it's the same with 90, 240 or unlimited (3000) minutes.
See the above chart.

For 5.- extra you get the "Optimierung", which means you always get the best tariff (see red line above).
For 15.- extra you get 1 GB data.
For 10.- extra you get unlimited calls to three swiss numbers.
For 10.- extra you get 90 SMS, for 15.- extra you get unlimited (3000) SMS.

SIM-only contract runs for three months only!

Additional minutes are 0.45, additional SMS are 0.15.
With the 1GB option, additional MBs are 0.10, without you pay 2.- per day (but max 100 MB per month).

I think it's pretty great.

Re: Orange Young Forever

This seems pretty good, I especially like the idea of the sim only plan with min contract of 3 months, which means I do not have to commit to a 12 or 24 months contract, this will give people flexibility to move up or down tariffs regularly as is what I would like to do 2 or 3 times a year depending on my usage. However again orange have failed the my account is not working, the option to buy the sim only plan for 3 months isn't working and customer service waiting time is 5-8 min's

Why not just choose the optimize option?

Yeah, they care much more about streaming videos of dancing girls on their main page than the accounts of their customers working...
