Roaming mobile broadband internet access

I will be in France/Spain/Portugal for 10 days or so in November and in need of a mobile internet connection. Do I have any reasonable options? Do those countries offer pay-as-you-go internet access? I have a Swisscom Abo with an unlocked iPhone 3G at the moment, if that helps.

I see some EU providers now offer roaming broadband at not-insane prices, but they all require an Abo...
