Red HTC Wildfire

So, after resisting the urge for a while I decided I ought to get a new phone, one of these fancy ones that do stuff other than phoning

I read a lot of reviews and came to the conclusion that whilst they are very cool, I truthfully don't need something as expensive as an iPhone and - but I do want something that works well if you get what I mean. So anyway, I basically decided on an HTC Wildfire as being a pretty good middle of the road option.

But .... now.... when we were on holiday in Spain a couple of weeks ago I saw an ad for a red one.... and well... you know.... it's a girl thing.... and it looks so much cooler than a brown one (yes, brown, I mean, who really wants a brown phone?)

Anyway, have googled and couldn't find a red htc wildfire here. In the UK, yes, but not here? Does anyone know if it's actually available here? If not, will it be soon? I read it had a scheduled release in "Europe" of Q3 2010 - maybe we don't count as Europe?

[Sigh, I know, very shallow that I want a red one. But I do I do I do!]

Re: Red HTC Wildfire

Vodafone in the UK will have the new version in different colours.

I will wait for the first reviews but I'm expecting to buy the Wildfire S.

Just checking prices here

It is cheaper with "Branding" from Swisscom. I certainly don't want my new phone to be tainted with their logo or crapware. How does Swisscom make money from these ? Without contract.

Re: Red HTC Wildfire

I can't remember exact details but I know that Inter Discount had a range of HTC phones. Pretty sure Wildfire was one of them but cannot be sure.

Re: Red HTC Wildfire

The Wildfire S isn't in the shops yet.

There are discounts on the previous Wildfire (no S) model to clear stock but I'm down with the S.
